In every case, I found that I was happiest and most successful when I was working with people, and I discovered I worked best when I had one goal and priority: helping people get better results simply and quickly. I love it and I’m blessed to be good at it! But for many years I was stuck in a terribly negative belief system – one that burdened me with a lack of confidence and low self esteem. My childhood was extremely chaotic – both of my parents had mood disorders (now recognized as bipolar disorder) and they projected their anger and fears onto me, my brother and two sisters. Never-ending criticism of everything I did (and the accompanying rage) left its mark and as a result I shied away from ever finishing anything. I decided that the key to never letting anybody down was just not to try to succeed – and I earned the reputation as someone who never stuck with anything. One of my girlfriends once remarked, “Robin, sometimes it seems like the closest you ever get to having your perfect life is reading about it.” But I knew I had a natural coaching ability – and an ability to inspire, motivate and infuse people with energy and hope. Although I was constantly changing jobs, I always managed to do very well wherever I went – especially if it involved helping people achieve a specific result. I was a “go to” person – and I had a knack for distilling the project into the fewest number of steps necessary to get those results. I realized I was the biggest obstacle to my own success and that I would become what I believed! I could be pitiful or powerful – but not both. When I stopped focusing on what I wanted and started focusing on who I wanted to become – I found my calling. It took a life changing event – the end of my 24 year marriage – to get the ball rolling, but I am incredibly grateful for that adversity which became a tremendous opportunity. In many ways, it forced me to accept myself right where I was – and begin the process of organizing my health and priorities around the ME I wanted to become. My journey as a single mother and solo business owner began with a home management business, and my first clients were women like myself – busy professional moms looking for ways to make their chaotic lives simpler. “Life organization” evolved from my desire to create a holistic approach to organization and a healthy lifestyle that emphasizes balance in body, mind and spirit – giving us the energy and confidence to “deliver what we came to deliver” (by that I mean your purpose!). What is truly exciting is that I’m constantly learning too! For instance. . .

Hi, I’m Robin Stephens, and I’ve been coaching in some form or other all my life! I’m lucky to be blessed with an ability to motivate and inspire. I love to see others succeed! Gaining an understanding of why people do what they do – and don’t do – has always been important to me. Over the years, my ability to empathize and problem solve became a valuable asset through several incarnations which included office management, career counseling, corporate recruiting and mental health administration.
