Time for a change!
calendar

I mentioned this in my last ezine, but in case you haven't heard - I am changing my ezine delivery service, effective November 6th.  I've been back and forth on this issue for quite some time - mostly because of the inconvenience to my current subscribers - you!  But in order for me to bring new information, resources, classes, and other great stuff coming to YourLifeInOrder.com very soon, I need the flexibility and expanded services that the new service can provide.

The official switch will occur with the November 6th issue.  If you've enjoyed my e-newsletter (hope so, anyway!) please make sure to re-subscribe so you can not only continue to receive the information and resources as in the past, but be part of the "new and improved" YourLifeInOrder.com.

You'll also receive my brand new 7-Step Get Organzied Effortlessly!  eCourse.

Subscribing is easy:

Step 1:  Send a blank email (from the email address that you want to subscribe from) to yourlifeinorder@aweber.com.

Step 2:  Click on the opt-in link contained in the subscription confirmation email that you'll receive separately.

That's all there is to it!

Thank you - looking forward to keeping you on board!

Dear Robin,

I'll admit it - I'm a fair weather exerciser.  If it's raining or even threatening out there, I'll opt for the treadmill, preferring to log in my daily run while watching TV in the comfort of my home. Nothing drastic - 3 miles or so - nice and easy.

Recently, my friend Elaine and I decided to run the Seattle Half Marathon together (13.1 miles).  It's scheduled for the Sunday after Thanksgiving and the chances are it WON'T be fair weather.  So we've got to get used to running with whatever weather cards we're dealt.

My first test came last Sunday morning.  We had a run scheduled for 8 a.m. and it was pouring.  I immediately thought of all the reasons I should cancel.  It was cold.  I didn't have the right gear.  Why not just bag it and run inside today?  Or maybe have a cup of coffee, go back to bed and wait till later.  It might stop raining.

Thankfully, Elaine wouldn't let me off that easily and almost 7.5 miles later, soaked to the skin, hungry and cold - we high fived and hugged each other  - the halfway mark now under our belt.  I felt energized and motivated - the realization I could actually DO this - made me feel confident I could tackle anything and win!

I realized there's a lot of power in little victories. And I also realized I really need a Gore Tex running jacket before race day.

To your confidence & success!

The Oasis We Need
oasis Life is overwhelming at times.  Nobody would deny that.  So going home at the end of the day to a peaceful, organized home would rejuvenate and energize us from the drain of daily challenges.

Unfortunately, for a lot of us that oasis doesn't exist - yet.  Most of us have some kind of clutter challenge.  It may be our schedules, for some its space - but wherever it happens, it prevents us from relaxing and destressing.

Jim Rohn, author and motivational speaker says that the key to success is to work on yourself first.  Decluttering may just be one of the easiest ways to work on yourself and move your life in a positive direction.  It has a ripple effect - enhancing all areas of your life and it releases you to show up as the authentic person you really are.

Your home should be your oasis.  It's the first thing you wake up to each day and the last thing you see before you turn in at night.  How you live in it affects your health, mood, and productivity.

Few areas in your life have a more profound impact on your well-being than the space you call home.  Make it a source of energy and joy.

Don't apologize - organize!
